Socialize is offering up to $2,000 in prize money for tonight’s 24 Hour Challenge Hackathon at the StartupHouse in San Francisco.
We’ll pay the winners on the spot tomorrow night.
Socialize will be offering $1,000 in prize money if the hacker team that wins the hackathon has created a working javascript library in our GitHub repository based off the Socialize API and has implemented that library in at least one HTML5 mobile app by the end of the night.
Additionally, Socialize will be offering $500 for the first Android app to be put into the Android Marketplace that uses the Socialize Android SDK, as well as $500 for the first iOS app to be published into the iTunes App Store that uses the Socialize iOS SDK. The challenge runs from 9pm tonight, Friday 7/22/11 until 9pm tomorrow.
