We’re introducing a lot of new Socialize features & functionality in the first half of 2012, and one of the most requested items from Socialize developers is the ability to know more about their users.
There are plenty of SDKs that will tell you how many impressions you had last month, but until now it’s been devilishly hard to actually know who these users were. That’s because most mobile apps today don’t have any sort of authentication mechanism to have your users tell you who they are. Socialize’s social infrastructure solves that problem, while enabling your app’s community to socialize within your app (we call this “turning the lights on” in your app).
Here are some of the things you’ll see in the Socialize dashboard once you register as a Socialize developer and drop the Socialize social SDK into your app:
Most Active User Scoring: Know which users are “voyeurs” vs. “contributors” with a point scoring system to show relative contributions between users:
Learn about your Authenticated Users. Users who have authenticated via Facebook or Twitter have a special section in your app so you can learn more about them.
Dig into learn more about specific users. See all of their social activity both in your app and on social networks. See where they are physically located, how long they’ve been users, and what their most recent activity is.
